Elon Musk, the owner and CEO of Twitter, has announced that he will step down as CEO when he finds “a person stupid enough to take the job. After that, I will only manage the software and server teams.”
This message from Musk comes after yesterday he published a survey, in which he asked the surfers: “Should I leave Twitter? I will follow what you vote for.” The survey was answered by more than 17.5 million users, and 58% of them answered that it would be better if he retired from the position.
Musk purchased Twitter last October, then announced that he does not intend to hold the position of CEO for long and will try to find a replacement. This announcement is the first time that he has publicly announced that he does intend to leave the position soon.
