The play was written by Oded Lifshitz and directed by Moshe Naor, and is written in the style of a Greek tragedy. The play follows the evidence that accompanied the Azaria case within the walls of the court, step by step, and brings a snapshot of the controversies and rifts that characterized Israeli society ahead of the sentencing phase delivered in January 2017.

In addition, the work will feature key figures who took part in the affair, including Azaria’s friend who testified that he heard his words after the shooting and then changed his version, the commander who questioned him immediately after the incident and Azaria’s parents. Also, at the festival in question, there will be a play about the boys of the hills and the story of the terrorist attack in the Duma – “Amiram”.
