Close to 30,000 people enjoyed the concerts organized by Festivalot this weekend, Girona’s family music festival. A number that surpasses, and by a lot, that of previous editions. This year, the festival has had more than 30 concerts and activities designed for the little ones. During the weekend, contrasting artists and bands from the Catalan scene have passed through the Festivalot, such as Dr. Prats, Els Catarras or Lil Dami; and emerging groups like Ambauka is Roba Estesa.
Beyond the music, the little ones could also enjoy themselves of artistic activities such as tasting instruments, traditional dance workshops and tavern cancón, given by the Grana i Moscatell group; i recreational activities such as sustainable mobility workshops, reading gardens or face painting.
As a novelty, in some of the Music schools from Girona have participated in the concerts such as the Geriona Choir or the students of the Carme Auguet School, who burst in as a surprise during the Els Catarres concert.
