And the 41-year-old Thor star then shared a gallery of shots of the fun-filled action on his social media.
Elsa, looking perfect in a sleek black wetsuit, was seen smiling as she posed while gliding across the water on a surfboard in the Instagram share.
Other photos showed Chris and his boys surfing challenging waves in the middle of Sydney Olympic Park.
Chris can be seen showing off his shape in many snaps, while his kids seem to have learned a few fashion tricks from their dad.
“Awesome couple of days at Urbnsurf,” Chris wrote in the caption.
‘Waves and non-stop fun. A big thank you to the team for taking care of us.’
Since they married fourteen years ago, the Hemsworths have been married welcomed three children: India Rose, 13, and twins Sasha and Tristan, 10.

This comes after Chris revealed a fun fact about the family during a radio interview last week.
The Transformers One star told Nova’s Jase and Lauren show that she lets her twin sons cut their own hair.
The admission came after host Lauren Phillips told the actor that she noticed the young duo’s unique dos on the red carpet at the Transformers One premiere in Sydney.

“I want to talk to you about your kids’ haircuts, Chris,” she said.
‘I’ve seen them on the red carpet. You’re doing your best, Edward Scissorhands, why doesn’t any hairdresser put his name on those haircuts?’
Chris admitted that his boys and a group of their friends started giving each other bizarre bowl haircuts.
“My two sons and about six of their friends have all started getting this kind of bowl haircut,” she admitted.
“Now Tristan, his friend did that and then he went to the hairdresser just to straighten it, so that was done by a professional.”
The Thor star added that she used scissors to create Sasha’s look, but was under constant supervision.
“I did Sasha’s haircut myself, but I had strict instructions on what to do,” he said.
While Lauren called the looks “the worst haircuts I’ve ever seen,” Chris was also quite sharp in his remarks.

“I was like, ‘You look like Lloyd Christmas from Dumb and Dumber,’” he said, referring to Jim Carey’s character in the iconic comedy.
“They were like, ‘What? Shut up, Dad, I hate you.’”
Chris then asked Lauren if she would be willing to let him go and received a firm “no” from the radio host.
Chris Hemsworth Performs Impressive Maneuver
The actor was left red-faced earlier this month after he shared the noteworthy results of the shock haircut she gave her ten-year-old twins Sasha and Tristan.
The Marvel action star posted a photo on Instagram showing his twin sons showing off their edgy hairstyles after receiving a subpar cut from their famous dad.
The boys looked absolutely humiliated in the surprising photo, which Chris hilariously captioned: “Hairdressing has always been my true passion.”
Many of Hemsworth’s followers quickly took to the comments section to express their thoughts on the hilarious photo.
“Hemsworth Scissorhands,” Phillips wrote while Isla Fisher added: “Haahhahahah.”
“THIS is why Thor was crying,” a third person chimed in.
“Luckily for them, horrible haircuts are the latest trend,” joked another person.
