Emanuel Nachmias Appointed Director of Business Development at Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi Laboratory in Israel – Techtime

Emanuel comes with 15 years of experience in Israeli and French corporations in the field of smart transportation. He previously worked with the Renault-Nissan Group, Valeo, and the Carasso Group, where he served as Director of Innovation and Electric Vehicles.

The innovation laboratory of Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi in Israel announced today (Tuesday) the appointment of Emanuel Nachmias as Director of Business Development. The laboratory operates from Atidim Park in Tel Aviv, and focuses on the detection and feasibility testing (PoC) of Israeli technologies in the automotive field in order to integrate them in the cars and services of the global group. Emanuel comes with 15 years of experience in Israeli and French corporations in the field of smart transportation. He previously worked with the Renault-Nissan Group, Valeo, and the Carasso Group, where he served as Director of Innovation and Electric Vehicles.

As part of the role, he will be responsible for promoting collaborations in new feasibility tests of the laboratory with the local industry, examining additional areas for laboratory activities and identifying new trends in the Israeli autotech industry. The innovation laboratory of the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi Group (Tel Aviv) Group, Tel Aviv, is managed by Amos Shchupek and examines innovative solutions for the automotive world. It focuses on areas such as sensors, cyber security, data and artificial intelligence (AI), electric vehicles and more.

Since its establishment in February 2018, the laboratory has led about 30 joint projects with Israeli companies. The laboratory is located in Atidim Park, Tel Aviv, and operates a 1,600-square-meter facility that provides startups with a space adapted for testing technologies on real vehicles, as well as a team of engineers and experts who reside in Israel on a regular basis. Since then, the laboratory has been operating within the framework of the Innovation Authority’s technological laboratories program.
