The Board of Directors of Emerald Oil Limited, a listed company in the food and related sectors of the capital market, has released the unaudited financial report for the second quarter (October-December, 2023) and half-yearly quarter (July-December, 2023) of the current financial year. According to the published report, the company’s earnings per share (EPS) increased by 307 percent in the half-yearly quarter.

On Sunday (March 31), this information was revealed by Dhaka and Chittagong Stock Exchange (DSE-CSE).

The company’s earnings per share (EPS) for the half-yearly quarter of the current financial year stood at Tk 1.67. The company’s profit per share was Rs 0.41 in the same period last year. Accordingly, the company’s profit increased by Tk 1.26 or 307 percent in the quarter under discussion.

Meanwhile, the company’s second-quarter earnings per share (EPS) stood at Tk 0.20. In the same period last year, the company’s EPS was Rs.0.19. As such, the company’s profit increased by Tk 0.01 or 5 percent in the quarter under discussion.

As on December 31, 2023, the company’s net asset value per debt share (NAVPS) stood at Rs (8.70).
