by time news

To launch the long-awaited second part of Emily in Paris 4the cast is in Rome these days.

While waiting for the latest episodes to come out on Netflix (also available on Sky Glass, Sky Q and via the app on Now Smart Stick), protagonist Lily Collins and her co-stars are in the Eternal City for a glamorous event. The actors gathered in front of the Colosseum for some wonderful shots on the occasion of the global premiere that will be held on Tuesday 10 September at The Space Cinema Moderno in Piazza della Repubblica. The photos are by Italian photographer Giulia Parmigiani.

As fans know well, Rome was not chosen at random, indeed: in the latest episodes of Emily in Parisin fact, Emily Cooper’s character moves from Paris to Rome. And the Italian capital will be the setting for her adventures, both professional and… romantic!

The final episodes of the fourth season will then land on Netflix on September 12, to the delight of fans who couldn’t wait to enjoy the most anticipated season finale ever.
The plot tells of the “jump” to Italy that Emily will have to make: the chemistry that becomes really palpable with Gabriel, even though he is expecting a child with his ex (Camille Razart), will be what will push Emily to come to our country. And here her heart will start beating for someone else, as we will see in detail in the next paragraph.

Emily’s new love? An Italian plays him

In Italy, the protagonist will meet a boy who will literally make her lose her head. The character of her new love interest is of Italian nationality, as is his interpreter.
Eugenio Franceschini is the actor who plays alongside Collins in the second part of the fourth season of the series. And it is likely that, thanks to Emily in Paris, his fame explodes all over the world, transforming him in no time into an international star, a bit like what happened to Michele Morrone for 365 days.

According to what the official trailer released in the last few weeks suggests (which you can watch in the video above), in the second part of Emily in Paris 4 there are clear references to Roman Holiday and also to a more recent film, namely Eat, Pray, Love by Ryan Murphy (where Julia Roberts’ character visited three cities around the world, including Rome, to find herself).
It seems that even these last episodes Emily in Paris 4 will have as their main protagonists some of our icons, such as cuisine, the ancient ruins of imperial Rome and the Vespa, just to name a few.
