Emirates Airlines said in a statement that it has resumed its usual flight schedule from Dubai International Airport, starting today, Saturday.
Flydubai announced that it has fully restarted its flight schedule from Terminals 2 and 3 at Dubai International Airport.
Traveler support
In today’s update, Flydubai confirmed that its focus will continue during the coming days on providing support to its passengers whose travel plans have been affected.
It explained that travelers who booked through its website and whose reservations were canceled were contacted via email regarding options for refunding tickets or rebooking.
The carrier advised travelers who booked through a travel agent to contact him directly regarding options for refunding tickets or rebooking.
It also advised travelers to check the flight status on flydubai.com, and to update their contact information through the reservation management section on the company’s website.
It also advised travelers to complete travel procedures online before leaving for the airport.
It stated that passengers who contacted about refunding tickets or rebooking online and were unable to do so can contact the carrier’s call center, or send an email to [email protected] or via social media.
Advice from Dubai Airport
For its part, Dubai International Airport advised all departing passengers to arrive at the airport three hours before their flight time to allow sufficient time to complete travel procedures, and urged them not to arrive too early at the airport to avoid increasing crowding in the passenger terminal.
Dubai Airports previously indicated that 31 flights were diverted from Dubai International Airport to Al Maktoum Airport “Dubai World Central” due to the unprecedented weather conditions this week, noting that all guests of Al Maktoum Airport received the necessary support as they continued to complete their travel plans.
