by time news
Emmanouil Karalis will be the flag bearer at the closing ceremony of the Olympic Games, which will take place tomorrow Sunday (August 11, 2024) in Paris.

The pole vault champion was selected by the Hellenic Olympic Committee after winning the bronze medal in Paris with a jump of 5.90.

Already, the gold medalist Miltos Tentoglou had clarified his desire to carry the Greek flag at the Los Angeles Olympic Games.

It should be noted that at the opening ceremony, the flag bearers were Giannis Antetokounmpo and Antigoni Drisbiori.

“Manolo” is a well-known content creator and did not miss the opportunity to share the message he sent to the Greek Freak regarding the flag at the closing ceremony. Specifically, in a post made by the 24-year-old athlete, he appears to send to Giannis Antetokounmpo: “Guess who will take the flag at the closing ceremony,” with the Bucks star and Greek national player responding: “You’re kidding! Congratulations!”.

In the same post, Karalis appears to pose with his medal, showing the broad smile of his father, Haris, for their success, while also showing that the gold medalist and his good friend Mondo Duplantis video-called him from Santorini, where he is vacationing with his girlfriend.
