In his speech on July 21, the day after the cabinet reshuffle, the President of the Republic, Emmanuel Macron, asked his ministers to be “exemplary” and act “always with the greatest dignity”. He reminded them that they were “looked at in every detail” of their actions and their lives. He further demanded of them “collegiality”car “there is no individual success”et “efficiency”.
He called on his ministers to “redouble your energy so that efficiency is there, that life changes in real life” for the French people. He therefore asked them to “direct their administrations”because, he said, “Being a minister is not about speaking in office, it is implementing decisions that correspond to a strategy”.
