Chinese and American social networks are directly targeted: TikTok, Facebook, WhatsApp and Instagram.
Digital sovereignty
Throughout this interview, Emmanuel Macron also deplored that no major social network is French or European. He reaffirmed his desire to give France the means to acquire its own digital sovereignty in the fields of mobile applications, the cloud, cybersecurity or virtual reality.
