Paris: President Emmanuel Macron changes the color of the French flag. Changed from light blue to dark blue. The blue color of the flag was changed to pre-1976 Navy blue. Two years ago at the Elysee Palace, the Navy used the blue flag, but it went unnoticed at the time. In 1976, then – President Valerie Giscoard Esting changed the color from dark blue to light blue, similar to the color of the European Union flag.

The color change was in honor of volunteers who resisted the Prussian occupation of 1791 and soldiers who served in World Wars I and II. Elise’s Director of Operation Arnode Jolans is behind the color change. The Elysee Confidential, a book by Elliott Blondet and Paul Laroturo, a journal of journalists, states that Jolans visited Macron to change the color of the flag. After that, the incident came to everyone’s attention.

Macron had said in the book that he had promised to change the flags on all the buildings of the presidency. ‘Giscard changed this blue color during the reconciliation with Europe. But then all presidents continued this color. In fact, they both said it was not the French flag. The navy blue color had appeared at the Elysee Palace before being used by the President. However, from December 31, 2018, the flag began to change in the President’s speeches. Lorraine Cross has also been added to the President’s logo since 2018.
