Emmanuel Macron invites Wednesday evening to the Elysée the leaders of the future presidential party Renaissance, supposed to bring together La République en Marche (LREM), Agir and Territories of Progress, we learned from sources within the majority.

The Prime Minister, Élisabeth Borne, will be present at the dinner which will be attended by Stéphane Séjourné, president of the Renaissance group in the European Parliament and designated successor of Stanislas Guerini, general delegate of LREM, the president of Agir Franck Riester and that of Territories of Progress Olivier Dussopt, as well as the Minister of the Economy Bruno Le Maire.

A first seminar in Metz

The executives of Renaissance, gone in the making, worked on their future organization during a seminar on Saturday in Metz. The question remains unanswered of a merger of these three parties or of an organization in confederation, an idea put forward by Dussopt.

In the National Assembly, the parliamentarians who are members of these three parties sit together within the group already called Renaissance, the main group of the majority ahead of the MoDem of François Bayrou and Horizons of Édouard Philippe.
