Emmanuel Macron is annoyed by “absurd debates”

Emmanuel Macron urged, Tuesday, December 6, to end the debates “absurd” and at “scenario of fear” which develops around possible power cuts this winter.

From Tirana, Albania, he reacted to remarks by an Enedis spokesperson who suggested that patients at high risk of life dependent on electrical medical equipment at home might not be exempted in the event of load shedding. The French president denounced a “absurd debate”.

“Stop it all”, he added, in reference to the various reactions provoked by these declarations made the same morning on BFM-TV. “We are a big country, we have a great energy model, we will hold out this winter despite the war”assured Emmanuel Macron.
