A meeting marked by farewells? Emmanuel Macron received his Prime Minister, Elisabeth Borne, at the Elysée this Sunday at the start of the evening, in order to discuss “important issues”, according to the president’s entourage, confirming information from BFMTV. A meeting which takes place against the backdrop of a government reshuffle which could take place next week.

If the Elysée notably mentioned “the bad weather in Pas-de-Calais and the arrival of the cold wave”, for which the head of state asked to “accelerate responses”, the government is suspended presidential decisions in the coming days regarding the architecture of a new team.
