Singapore: Employees at Twitter’s Asia-Pacific headquarters in Singapore have been advised to work from home. An e-mail has been sent to the employees in this regard. According to reports, this step has been taken to control costs.

Twitter’s Asia-Pacific headquarters was located in a huge building called Capita Green in Singapore. In this case, all the employees there have been instructed to continue working from home until further notice. Recently one of the key employees for the Asia Pacific region, Noor Azhar bin Ayyub, was fired. He had to face job loss within a very short period of his employment.

In such an environment, the Asia-Pacific regional head office becomes vacant. The owner of Twitter’s headquarters building in San Francisco is suing for unpaid last month’s rent. Similarly, the reason for vacating the Singapore office is said to be non-payment of rent.
