Workers in the Public Authority for the Affairs of Persons with Disabilities in each of the departments of vocational rehabilitation, early intervention and day care for the disabled covered by the shift allowance, a, expressed their harm from the work system and the administrative decision to specify working hours during the holy month of Ramadan within the authority.
They revealed that they are not covered by the flexible working system, as their management requested to stay 8 working hours per day during the holy month, starting from 9 am to 5 pm or from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm, despite the absence of an official letter issued by the Civil Service Bureau with this assignment.
They added that they were denied the right to reduce the working hours in force in all government agencies during Ramadan, just like our colleagues, and this is something we have become accustomed to since the beginning of our work in the shift system.
