State Minister of Labor and Employment Muktijoddha has called upon the employers to be careful about violent conflicts in the future. Nazrul Islam Chowdhury, MP.
He made this call at the discussion meeting on labor sector organized by the Ministry of Labor and Employment on Thursday.
In the meeting, the Minister of State for Labor requested the owners of the industrial establishments to provide adequate support if any worker is physically harmed by the violence, saying that the public-private-owner entrepreneurs should be aware of the fact that this type of undesirable environment is not created in the future.
Commenting on the anti-state forces’ efforts to create obstacles in the country’s development journey, the state minister also said that various nefarious and self-interested circles, anti-independence BNP and its accomplice militant Jamaat-Shibir have infiltrated the movement of students and created anarchic situation across the country. The resulting gridlock has disrupted the production of other industries including garments, the main export sector. However, it was possible to bring the situation under control with the timely firm decision and leadership of the Hon’ble Prime Minister.
He also commented that the country has been able to maintain the continuity of growth and development as a result of the far-reaching decision-making of the government led by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
Secretary of the Ministry of Labor and Employment Mr. Md. Mahbub Hossain along with leaders of various owner organizations and senior government officials were present.
