The professional agricultural organization Young Farmers and Cattlemen of Catalonia (JARC) awarded this Thursday, during the celebration of the Best Golden Apple Awards, to Bio Bosch Ogànic, from Sant Pere Pescador with the Best Golden Apple Award ‘Súper Gold Ecológica’, a newly created category, which was collected by the producer Joan Bosch.
Bio Bosch Orgànic, from the Alt Empordà, had already won the Most Crisp category in the 2022 edition. The ‘Súper Gold Ecològica’ Award is a recognition of an even more sustainable and environmentally friendly way of producing, as detailed by the organization. “Just as in the vineyard and wine sector, organic production is more widespread, in the case of sweet fruit there is still a way to go”, they explain in a statement.
During the celebration, the producers of Cal Perico de Bellaguarda (Garrigues), the cooperative Miralcamp Fruits, from Miralcamp (Pla d’Urgell) and the company Baró i Fills de Bellaguarda (Segrià) were also awarded, through the Marquesa brand .
