The concerts of Eñaut Elorrieta and Esti Markez and the comic monologue of Nerea Garmendia in the vineyards will be some of the many cultural and gastronomic activities of the new edition of the Mahasti Artean festival, from September 8 to 10.
Bizkaia Txakolina reports that after passing through Bakio, Urdaibai or Txorierri, the fourth edition of the Mahasti Artean festival will arrive in Enkarterri, the largest private collection of Rolls-Royce, XV. The last forge of the 20th century, or the region where houses surrounded by vineyards straight out of a fairy tale are located.

All the activities will take place in the vineyards located in special places: in the vineyard of the Virgen de Lorea winery in Zalla and in the vineyard of the Galdames Winery next to the Loizaga tower in Galdames. The concerts of Eñaut Elorrieta and Esti Markez and the comedy show of the well-known actor and presenter Nerea Garmendia are the main novelties of this year’s wide and varied program.
This year’s program offers the opportunity to enjoy live music in the vineyards, by Eñaut Elorrieta, Esti Markez, Mou Trumpet and Kimu Txalaparta or even with an aperitif session by DJ Estrella Electronica.
During the lunchtime activities, you can enjoy food and wine experiences, where txakolina will share the spotlight with regional gastronomic products, such as purple onions from Zalla or chocolate from Balmaseda. During the evening concerts, Idiazabal cheese will be part of the harvest, and Jesus Aranburu, the producer of Idiazabal cheese, will also be there.
Ticket sales, which are available on the website bizkaikotxakolina.eus/mahasti-artean, seem to follow the same path as in previous editions, as tickets for all the scheduled activities are sold out.
