The end of an era. On June 30, the regulated gas sales tariff (TRVG), created at the time of the opening of the energy markets in 2007, disappeared definitively. It will be replaced by a simple “marker price”, reassessed every month by the Energy Regulatory Commission (CRE) and allowing consumers to find themselves in the jungle of offers. Especially since the price shield put in place for gas in October 2021 also comes to an end, the prices on the markets no longer justify the maintenance of this measure, according to the government.
