The National Institute for Artistic and Cultural Training (INAFAC) closed this Tuesday, May 16, 2023 its master class in the presence of the Minister of Communication, Culture, Arts and Tourism, Jean-Emmanuel Ouedraogo. This event brought together artists and professionals from different sectors for an intensive period of training and learning.

After two weeks of intense artistic training, the trainees present their achievements to the Minister during the official closing ceremony of the master classes. A total of 29 trainees took part in these training sessions. They were trained in music, dance and plastic arts.

From the start of the official ceremony, the Minister was treated to a guided tour of the INAFAC premises. In addition, the trainees presented melodious songs to the entire ministerial delegation. The minister was delighted with the performance and said he was “reassured of the seriousness and quality of the training”, received by the trainees.

Minister Jean Emmanuel Ouédraogo also highlighted INAFAC’s efforts in training young talents and underlined the importance of such initiatives for the growth and development of the cultural sector. He also recalled the government’s commitment to support artistic and cultural training institutions in order to guarantee quality training and prepare future players in the sector.

All the trainees of this master class session leave with training certificates. Since its creation in December 2000, nearly 600 people have been trained within the institute.
