Elbit Systems has won a $ 350 million contract to provide terrestrial security systems for an international customer. Elbit does not report what product is being sold and to which customer, most likely a country in Asia. The contract will be executed over a period of three years.
Last month, Elbit signed two more major deals. A $ 100 million contract to supply electronic warfare systems to the British Royal Navy, in addition to the first export deal for the innovative auto cannon worth $ 106 million, to an unnamed Asian country.
Bezalel (Muddy) Machlis, President and CEO of Elbit Systems, said: “This contract testifies to the competitive advantage of our diverse onshore systems portfolio. “We are witnessing growth in demand in this area against the background of an increase in the demand from security forces to adopt sophisticated network capabilities, which increase mission efficiency and reduce incidental-environmental damage, while improving economic efficiency.”
