Volleyball
On April 12, the first zonal tournament of the Estonian Championship in volleyball among boys under 16 was held in Rai. The team of the Narva sports school “Energy” (coach Alexei Bogdanov) took second place in the tournament. From 19 to 21 May in Võru, the team will take part in the competition of the strongest final group, where the medals of the 2023 national championship will be played.
On April 11, Rakvere hosted the games of the first zonal tournament of the Estonian Volleyball Championship among girls under 16. The team of the Narva sports school “Energy” under the guidance of coaches Victoria Prusakova and Galina Alferova took the third place at the last competition. Thus, the tournament of the 2nd final group will be held in the Narva Sports Center from 20 to 21 May.
From 15 to 16 April, games of the II final group of the Estonian Volleyball Championship among girls under 20 were held in Tallinn. The team of the Narva sports school “Energia” (coaches Victoria Prusakova and Galina Alferova) took the 4th place in the tournament. Christina Michelson was named the best player of our team. According to the results of the competition, our team took 10th place out of 25 teams at the Estonian U-20 Volleyball Championship.
From 15 to 16 April Paide hosted the 3rd final group tournament of the Estonian Under-20 Volleyball Championship. The team of the Narva sports school “Energia” under the guidance of coach Andrey Mikhin took 3rd place at the last competition.
Cycling
On April 15, Tallinn hosted the 3rd stage of the TEAM RATTAPOOD CUP cyclo-cross series, where Mark Khrunin from Narva took a high third place in the M19-34 group. According to the sum of the results of the three stages, the athletes of the Narva Sports School “Energia” took the following places: Mark Khrunin – 2nd place (group M19-34); Anton Avaryaskin – 5th place (M-16 group). The coach of the Narva athletes is Gennady Akimov.
