Researchers report that almost every second inhabitant of Germany is forced to save and significantly reduce costs. this was the result of a survey conducted by the sociological institute Civey for FOCUS Online. 43% of those surveyed said that due to high electricity prices, they have to save money on shopping or vacations. 46 percent % stated that they do not need excessive savings yet. Inflation hit the country’s residents aged 50 to 64 the most. 47%, that is, almost every second, said they were forced to introduce a savings regime, which drastically worsened their standard of living.
