Under this agreement, the historic operator of the electricity sector and guarantor of the Supply-Demand balance and the SIE, national energy services company “Super Esco”, undertake to develop and carry out energy performance projects and offers for the benefit of the public and private sectors, ONEE indicated in a press release.
Among the objectives of this collaboration, the valorization, through an integrated approach, of the potential of renewable energies in particular for buildings, the tertiary sector and especially industry to contribute to the imperatives of decarbonization which today constitutes a major asset to perpetuate the dynamics of the national industrial fabric.
“This cooperation is part of the High Royal Directives and Guidelines aimed at strengthening and encouraging the exemplary force of the public administration by maximizing energy efficiency and achieving significant savings,” the same source emphasizes.
It crowns the desire of the two institutions to develop their partnership relations around actions and subjects relating to the implementation of energy efficiency measures and the promotion of energy performance, both at the public and private sector levels, and also the desire of ONEE to implement solutions for optimizing the costs relating to energy consumption at the level of its administrative and industrial buildings.
On another level, this cooperation constitutes a real opportunity for the exchange of know-how in the field of energy efficiency with the aim of increasing skills in the field and encouraging and supporting the development of national expertise, services and products, concludes the press release.
