Energy: Enedis is preparing for power cuts this winter

The team is in the starting blocks. The 16 “network drivers” of the regional driving agency (ACR) of the Center-Val-de-Loire region of Enedis, the electricity distributor, a 100% subsidiary of EDF, have multiplied since the month of October load shedding exercises, two-hour, voluntary and localized blackouts on the network, in order to avoid a generalized blackout. These exercises were carried out locally, but also nationally, in consultation with the 27 other agencies in the country.
