As you pass through the doors of the Sein lighthouse (Finistère), in the building that forms its base, you can hear them purring 24 hours a day: electric storage batteries but also three emergency generators. It is here, in the first lighthouse to become a thermal power plant, that the energy transition of the island will take place live… which will become by 2030 the first in Ponant to switch to 100% renewable energy.
