Chennai: An Indigo Airlines passenger flight from Chennai Domestic Airport to Bengaluru, Karnataka was ready to take off at 11:15 am yesterday. The flight had 128 passengers and five crew members on board.
Before taking off, the pilot checked the engines of the aircraft. Then, he came to know that there was a fault in the engine. The pilot informed the control room that he could not fly the plane.
Subsequently, aircraft engineers arrived and started the repair work. 128 people were waiting to continue on this flight. Some of the enraged passengers started arguing with the staff.
Meanwhile, the plane took off two hours late, at 1:25 pm, after repairs were completed.
