Abu Dhabi: A flight from Bangladesh to Abu Dhabi made an emergency landing in India due to an engine failure. The emergency landing was made by Air Arabia’s Airbus A320.

The plane landed safely at Ahmedabad airport. The plane, which was flying from Chittagong airport in Bangladesh, had an engine failure. The pilot asked permission to land as the warning light on the cockpit lit up. The flight was then diverted to Ahmedabad and landed here. The Indian Civil Aviation Authority has ordered an inquiry into the incident.

Saudi Arabia lifts travel ban on Indonesia

Riyadh: The Interior Ministry has announced that the ban on Saudi nationals traveling to Indonesia has been lifted. The Interior Ministry added that the decision to lift the ban on direct and indirect travel to Indonesia by Saudi nationals was based on a recommendation submitted by the Saudi health ministry and monitoring the situation related to the spread of Kovid.

The decision took effect on Monday. On July 12, 2021, Saudi citizens were banned from traveling to Indonesia following the Kovid expansion.

But the ban will remain in place in India, Lebanon, Turkey, Yemen, Syria, Iran, Armenia, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Libya, Belarus, Vietnam, Somalia and Venezuela. Saudi nationals must obtain prior permission from the Interior Ministry to travel to these countries for urgent needs.
