Russia launched an offensive against Ukraine on February 24. As the war continues in the country until now, there have been heavy casualties on both sides. And millions of Ukrainians have fled to neighboring countries as refugees.
Various world powers, including the United Kingdom and the United States, have been urging Russia to end its war on Ukraine. They also condemned Russia’s war effort and imposed unprecedented sanctions on Russia. Countries, including the United Kingdom and the United States, have been providing military and medical assistance to Ukraine without directly participating in the war.
The Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Boris Johnson has announced further military assistance to Ukraine. Addressing a video conference in the Ukrainian parliament, he said it was the best moment for Ukraine to stand up to the brutal occupiers.
Following this, he announced that the UK Government would provide another US $ 375 million (approximately Rs. 2,800 crore in Indian currency) in military assistance to Ukraine.
