England in the second tier, Sweden in the 3rd: a snapshot

After the loss of the England team yesterday (Friday) to Italy, the English were officially relegated to the second tier of the Nations League while Bosnia secured their promotion. Taking this into account, and the various developments across Europe, the ranking picture for the Euro 2024 qualifiers is taking shape.

Israel will secure the second tier if they are the home team in the Nations League, while England has dropped to the second tier. At the same time, Wales, Poland, the Czech Republic, Switzerland, Austria and even France are in danger of being relegated, while Norway, Serbia, Albania, Iceland and, as mentioned, our national team can rise to the first level.

England is in the second tier, while in the third tier awaits Sweden and in the fourth tier we can meet Turkey, Georgia or Luxembourg. England, for the first time since 2004, will not be the home team.

The picture of the ranks (without taking into account the teams that will secure armor through the finals of Tier A of the League of Nations):

Tier 2 or 3: Albania, Finland, Iceland, Israel, Montenegro, Norway, Ireland, Scotland, Serbia, Slovenia, Ukraine
Tier 3: Armenia, Romania, Sweden
Rank 4: Georgia, Greece, Kazakhstan, Luxembourg, Turkey
Tier 4 or 5: Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Faroe Islands, Kosovo, North Macedonia, Northern Ireland, Slovakia.
Tier 5: Belarus, Estonia, Gibraltar, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Moldova.
Level 6: Andorra, Liechtenstein, San Marino.
