The England National Team will host Brazil and Belgium at Wembley Stadium in March 2024, as part of preparations for the 2024 European Cup. This was announced by the English Football Association (FA), Monday (6/11).
The Three Lions have secured tickets to the tournament which will take place in Germany with two games remaining, following a 3-1 win over Italy last October.
Gareth Southgate’s boys will challenge five-time world champions Brazil on March 23. Meanwhile, the match against Belgium, which has also confirmed qualification for the 2024 European Cup, is scheduled to take place on March 26.

England will host Malta on November 17 in a no longer influential 2024 European Cup qualifier, to then be hosted by North Macedonia, three days later.
“I’m happy to have two tough games in March as we build strength towards the European Cup finals. It’s important to take every opportunity to test ourselves against top opponents,” Southgate said as quoted by AFP.
“Before that, we have two final qualifying matches against Malta and North Macedonia. Getting two positive results is fundamental if we want to ensure we can be among the top seeds in next month’s European Cup draw,” he added.

The 2024 European Cup will take place from 14 June to 14 July next year. There are 24 teams that will participate, with ten cities hosting. (Ant/Z-1)
