England will tour Pakistan next month to play a three-match series. Keeping this series in front, Pakistan got into venue complications. There was talk of organizing the series at a neutral venue. But that is not happening. Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Mohsin Naqvi has confirmed that the series will be held in Pakistan.

Pakistan has already entered the field ahead of the Champions Trophy 2025. As a part of this arrangement, PCB has started the renovation of the stadiums. Currently Lahore, Karachi or Rawalpindi, all the stadiums are under renovation. This work should be stopped if the series against England is at home.

If this is to be done, the PCB may have to face difficulties in organizing the Champions Trophy. Because of which Naqvi wanted to move the entire series in the beginning. Sri Lanka and the United Arab Emirates were on the list of preferred venues outside the country.

However, Naqvi is keeping the series at home. The PCB chief said that the matches of the series will be held in Multan and Rawalpindi. Naqvi said, ‘The home Test series against England will be held in Multan and Rawalpindi. We have contacted the England board and they are happy with the decision.’

As per the schedule, the first Test of the three-match series is scheduled to begin on October 7 in Multan. The next match is scheduled to be held in Karachi. The second test will be held from October 15 to 19. The last Test of the series is scheduled to be played in Rawalpindi. This match will start from 24 October.
