Calusac Placement Tests: English Dates in September 2024
During September 2024he Language Learning Center of the University of San Carlos of Guatemala ―CALUSAC― will have several dates available to carry out English placement tests for all Guatemalans interested in enrolling in their next bi-monthly or intensive courses.
These assessments are designed to evaluate the level of English proficiency of candidates who already have prior knowledge, allowing them to be placed at the appropriate level according to their abilities.
Available dates and times
The placement exam will be conducted virtually and costs Q 50.00. Interested applicants can choose from various dates and times in September. Below are the options available for teenagers and adults:
- Monday 2nd and 23rd: 12:00 and 17:00 hours
- Tuesday 17th: 12:00 hours
- Wednesday 4th and 25th: 12:00 hours
- Thursday 19th: 12:00 hours
- Sunday 8th and 22nd: 12:00 hours
Assignment process
The process of assigning to the tests is simple, below we give you more details:
- Record: If you do not yet have an account on the platform, you must register and create one at redcalusac.usac.edu.gt.
- Assignment: Once registered, log in to your account and look for the “Calusac” section. There, select “Exam Location” to start the process.
- Data Entry: Complete the form with your personal information, select the location, type of assessment, language, and upload a photograph of both sides of your DPI.
- Approval of stationery: After completing the form, you will receive an email confirming that your documents have been approved. Once the paperwork has been approved, you will be able to generate your payment order.
- Payment order and deposit: Generate the payment order from your account in Red CALUSAC and make the payment of Q 50.00 at any Banrural, Bantrab or G&T agency or online banking.
- Payment validation: After making the payment, log back into your account on CALUSAC Network and select the “Validate payment” option to confirm that the deposit has been made correctly.
- Selecting the exam date and time: Once payment has been confirmed, you can choose the date and time of the test that best suits your needs.
- Generation of the allocation voucher: Finally, generate the assignment receipt, which will serve as proof of your participation in the evaluation.
If you have any problems during the process, such as lack of approval of documents or validation of payment, you can resort to Virtual Office for assistance. This office offers specific hours, which are regularly announced on Calusac’s Instagram or Facebook page.
