Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has warned that officials who take bribes from investors will have to eat in jail. The state has an industry friendly environment. Despite numerous amendments to the law to create an industry-friendly environment in the state, some are still hostile to industrialists. The Chief Minister reminded that even though the industry is medium and large, it is a great service done by the industrialists who provide employment to a group of people. The Chief Minister warned that corruption would not be tolerated and said that officials should remember that the people are the masters.
