Government and private offices have opened after three days of general holidays. Today Wednesday (July 24), the heart of the administration, the Bangladesh Secretariat, is strictly closed.

On Wednesday (July 24), officials and employees started coming to the secretariat from 10 o’clock in the morning. Each car is carefully inspected and then ushered into the secretariat. If anyone is suspicious, the motorcycle is being searched. Bags are also being searched. No vehicles other than those approved by the Secretariat are allowed to enter.

At the entrance to the secretariat, officers and employees were seen parking their cars between gates number one and two.

A large number of security forces have been deployed at the entry gates of the Secretariat. The army was seen patrolling in front of the secretariat.

Today, various ministries including Ministry of Textiles and Jute, Ministry of Food, Ministry of Agriculture, Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Directorate of Information can be seen, most of the officials of the ministry are working.

Officials and employees of various ministries said that they came to the office at 10 am. There was no difficulty in coming to the road. There was traffic jam on various roads today. They expect the office to start in full swing from next week.

Regarding this, Mohammad Mahmudul Hasan, Senior Information Officer of the Ministry of Textiles and Jute, said that most of the officials and employees have come to the office. There was no difficulty in coming to the road.

It should be noted that the curfew will be relaxed from 10 am to 5 pm on Thursday as well. At this time, public and private offices will be open from 11 am to 3 pm.
