Under-20 striker has a valid contract with Leão until 2026
Striker Enzo Vagner, who makes up Sport’s U20 team, was invited to carry out tests at Benfica, in Portugal. As announced by the Pernambuco club, the training period begins this Monday (29) and lasts one week.
The player, it should be said, signed a professional contract with Leão da Ilha in December last year, with a contract valid until 2026. Enzo Vagner, in fact, is the son of Vagner Love, a striker who played for Rubro-negro in the 2022 and 2023.
At the end of last year, the athlete played for Leão in the Algarve Cup – a tournament played in Portugal – and caught the attention of Benfica’s scouts. In addition to the international championship, Enzo Vagner played in the last São Paulo Junior Football Cup for the Pernambuco club, where he played in three matches.
