The meeting of the Foreign Ministers of Russia, as well as the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics, should take place in the near future. They will discuss details on the placement of diplomatic institutions. This was announced by the Secretary of the General Council of the party “United Russia” Andrey Turchak.
“Consultations are underway, a meeting of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation and, accordingly, the two republics, is to take place in the near future,” Turchak said at a press conference.
According to him, at this meeting, in particular, the details of the deployment of diplomatic institutions of the Russian Federation and the republics in each other’s territories will be discussed.
Turchak, in addition, expressed doubts about the possibility of reaching an agreement on the issue of Donbass with the current authorities of Ukraine.
“I doubt the possibility of dialogue, because we exist in fundamentally different hemispheres,” he said. “For them, Donbass is a territory, and for us, Donbass is people. And we will never get along here.”
