The government’s arguments are weakened by what LDF convener EP Jayarajan told a channel shortly after the plane landed, as the government proceeded to file an assassination attempt against Youth Congress activists protesting inside the plane. Jayarajan’s response was that the Youth Congress activists got up in protest after the Chief Minister got off the plane. Jayarajan told the channel that the drunken man could not even stand up to them. But half an hour later he changed his mind. He said that the Youth Congress activists had tried to attack the Chief Minister.

Were there any such protests while leaving Kannur?
Not noticed by me. Later I saw two or three people drowning and going back and forth. Normally such people should not be carried on the plane itself. How dignified is a plane? Is this the case with the plane on which the Chief Minister travels? All the passengers are annoyed.
What really happened on the plane?
The plane landed. The CM is then in the back seat. He and everyone around him went down. Two or three people in front protested. They can’t even get up. They are drowning and calling out for something. It is not even understood that the Youth Congress is called Zindaba. The tongue is sticking out.
