Thiruvananthapuram: EP Jayarajan will participate in the CPIM state secretariat. For this, EP will reach Thiruvananthapuram on Friday. It is reported that EP will give his position on the complaint raised by P Jayarajan in the state committee. EP Jayarajan’s question to the media persons was what is the problem for him to go to Thiruvananthapuram.

He is a person who travels all over Kerala. What is the problem with him going to Thiruvananthapuram’, asked EP Jayarajan to the journalists. The allegation against EP may be discussed in the ongoing CPIM Politburo meeting in Delhi.

The state leaders are of the stand that there is no need for a detailed discussion on the PB. The matter will be discussed in the state committee on Friday according to the position of the PB meeting. Later, the party will take a final decision on whether the allegation warrants an investigation. Ahead of the PB meeting, Pinarayi had a meeting with General Secretary Sitaram Yechury.

Meanwhile, CEO Thomas Joseph dismissed the report that the largest shareholder of Vaidikam Resort is LDF convener EP Jayarajan’s wife Indira. Thomas Joseph said that CPIM comrade Ramesh Kumar and his wife have the largest stake and other campaigns are to oust EP Jayarajan.

PK Indira holds 12.33 percent shares worth Rs 82 lakh. Indira is also the chairperson of the board of directors of the resort. Earlier, the CEO was not ready to disclose Indira’s share in the resort. Indira became the chairperson on December 17, 2021. Before this, his son Jason was the chairman. Jason’s share value is Rs 10 lakhs. With this, in EP’s family, only his wife and son have a share of 92 lakh rupees in the resort.
