In the demo, I gave the Epic R1T an opal body to show how a substrate can allow different layers of materials to interact with each other without creating light elements. The demo was also a showcase for Epic’s new suite of procedural content creation tools. It allows artists to create large, highly detailed levels from a small selection of handcrafted items.
