Homeland Today: The National Center for Epidemics and Communicable Diseases Control stressed the importance of the national vaccination campaign, and supports the efforts of the Ministry of Health, the World Health Organization, and the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), as the measles and rubella (Mr) vaccine in Jordan is safe and effective in saving children’s lives. The center supports the efforts of the Ministry of Health in the national vaccination campaign, the second phase of which will begin in the middle of next October, targeting all male and female students in public and private schools, in addition to kindergartens, nurseries, shelters, kindergartens, and juvenile halls.
The center stressed that the measles and rubella vaccine provides lifelong protection for children, calling on parents to avoid fears about the vaccine, increase their confidence in it, and encourage their children to receive it, to increase the level of community immunity.
