Concelo took the lead in the 27th minute. Riyadh Mehres scored in the 63rd minute and Raheem Sterling in the 86th minute to seal City’s official victory in the second half. City have won their eighth consecutive league game.
He retained the top spot with 44 points from 18 games. City have conceded nine of their 44 goals this season. This is only the third time City have topped the league at Christmas. Prior to that, they were City champions in the 2011 and 17th seasons, heading into Christmas in first place.

A setback for Chelsea in the English Premier League. Chelsea drew against the Wolves. Neither team scored a goal. Chelsea have been without seven top players due to Kovid. Chelsea are third with 38 points from 18 games.
