Eran Zehavi: Brazil reports – “The striker is approaching Botafogo”

by time news

The fog of battle still covers the air, and yet – one thing is clear: the Eran Zehavi saga enters its final episode (and possibly his own). And at least according to various reports, two teams have reached the final line in the competition for the striker, who has played for the past two years at the Dutch PSV – Maccabi Tel Aviv, his former team, and the Brazilian Botafogo.

At least outwardly, Zehavi claims he has not yet made the final decision – and he is expected to announce his next stop soon. But there are those who claim that the business is already closed – or close to closing, and the reports come in the Portuguese language. Journalist Thiago Franklin reported tonight (Friday through Saturday) that the story is almost over. “Zahavi wants to play Botafogo,” he said on YouTube, “and the transition will happen – unless something unexpected happens.”

“Everything is subject to bureaucratic matters,” Franklin continued, “for final approval and closing of final details in the negotiations. It remains only to wait for a decision in the coming days,” the report said. Just last Thursday, the group’s owner, John Texture, deviated from his custom and posted a call on social media for Zahavi to “jump into the hot water of Botafogo.” Texture stepped up to do and even posed for pictures with the club’s Jewish fans, apparently to allay concerns about Zehavi’s family.
