Erbil hosts the second gathering of the Premier Volleyball League finals

/ The Iraqi Volleyball Federation announced, on Friday, that the 24th of this month has been set as the start date for the second grouping competitions for the finals of the Iraqi Clubs League for the Premier Division.

The president of the federation, Habib Ali Al-Lawandi, told Agency, “The technical and competitions committee of the federation has designated Erbil Governorate in the Kurdistan Region to host the competitions scheduled to start on the twenty-fourth of this month of March,” pointing out that “all the matches of the second assembly will be held in the hall.” (Akad Ainkawa) in Erbil.

Al-Lawandi added, “The Peshmerga team stands in first place in the team ranking list after the end of the first gathering in Basra, followed by the Erbil team in second place, then South Gas third, North Refineries fourth, and Al-Bahri fifth and last.”

He explained, “The competitions will begin in their first round on Sunday, the 24th of this month, with two matches being held, the first bringing together the North Refineries team with South Gas at 8:30 p.m., and the second bringing together Erbil and Al-Bahri at 10:30 p.m., while the Peshmerga team will be waiting.”
