Erbil prepares Al-Qasim in preparation for the second half of the Stars League

/ Al-Qasim Club management announced the departure of its football team to Erbil, the capital of the Kurdistan Region, to stay in a training camp there, and to name an Iraqi assistant coach for the Syrian staff.

Al-Qasim Club’s media coordinator, Nofal Al-Janabi, told Agency, “The club’s management added an Iraqi assistant coach to the new Syrian staff consisting of first coach Ayman Al-Hakim, and his assistants include Mustafa Rajab as first assistant, Ahmed Qaddour as fitness coach, and Samer Al-Rihani as goalkeeper coach.”

Al-Janabi added, “The team will enter a closed training camp in Erbil Governorate under the leadership of Syrian coach Ayman Al-Hakim and his assistant staff in preparation for the second stage of the Iraq Stars Football League.”

He explained, “The administrative body of Al-Qasim Sports Club decided to name coach Jaafar Sarhan among the football team’s training staff to be part of the staff in its training camp in Erbil, which begins today, Saturday, and will last ten days in preparation for the Iraq Stars League.”

Al-Qasim team occupies the penultimate position (19th) in the Iraq Stars League standings with 12 points.
