Erdogan sent heartfelt wishes to the Jewish community in honor of Passover: “I share in the joy of our Jewish citizens on the occasion of Passover, and wish them and the entire Jewish people well-being,” said Recep Tayyip Erdogan who praised the Jews for handling the earthquakes

The President of Turkey issued a message to the Jewish communities in the country on the occasion of Passover. “Greetings for Passover to the Jewish community. I send wishes from the bottom of my heart to our Jewish citizens on the occasion of Passover,” said Recep Tayyip Erdogan. “Our Jewish citizens, with whom we have shared the same lands for hundreds of years, and who have contributed greatly to the development of our country in every field, live in peace, security and tranquility, it is a promise of the unity of our country,” he added.

Erdogan emphasized that “the mighty nation once again showed unity in the face of the earthquake that hit Turkey on February 6 because it is able to overcome any adversity by uniting forces.” This was reported by the local media.

Erdogan continued: “Our Jewish citizens, who from the first moment of the earthquakes acted in a spirit of solidarity, also demonstrated a commendable position,” he added. “I congratulate all my Jewish citizens for their sensitivity that strengthened the unity and solidarity of 85 million people in Turkey,” he added, referring to Turkey’s population.
