The opening ceremony of the Olympic Games in Paris is approaching, and ERT is ready to broadcast this premier sporting event.
Greece counts 101 participants in the Olympic Games that will take place in Paris from July 26 to August 11, and ERT will be alongside the athletes to cover the top sporting event through television, radio, and online.

The public television, through its channels ERT 1, ERT2, and ERT3, with simultaneous streaming via the digital platform ERTFLIX, as well as from the two digital channels, ERTSPORTS 1 and ERTSPORTS 2, is undertaking a massive television project, broadcasting 900 hours of live programming, which includes the opening and closing ceremonies and of course all the major sporting competitions, special thematic shows, reports, interviews, and tributes.
With the aim of providing comprehensive and reliable information, ERT’s mission will consist of employees of all specialties, journalists, directors, production managers, cameramen, sound engineers, as well as social media editors, who will travel to four cities in France. In Paris, Lille where the preliminary round of basketball is held, Châteauroux, where the shooting events are scheduled, and Marseille, at the center of sailing.
