This first promotion from the IFTSAU of Es-Semara, which was created two years ago, has 29 laureates in architecture and urban planning.
In a statement to MAP, the Secretary General of the Ministry of National Territorial Planning, Urban Planning, Housing and Urban Policy, Youssef Hosni, underlined that this Institute welcomed its first promotion for the 2022-2023 school year, noting that the supervisory Department is continuing its efforts to support and supervise training in architecture and town planning professions.
In this context, Mr. Hosni indicated that the ministry has established six national schools of architecture and four training institutes for technicians specializing in architecture and urban planning in Meknes, Oujda, Tetouan and Es-Semara.
For his part, the director of IFTSAU Es-Semara, Tayeb Lachkar, congratulated the winners for successfully completing this training, praising the efforts made by the educational and administrative team, as well as the various stakeholders.
The IFTSAU of Es-Semara offers two-year training, culminating in obtaining a technician diploma specialized in architecture and town planning, continued Mr. Lachkar, who is also regional town planning inspector, of architecture and regional planning of the Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra region.
This Institute strives to guarantee quality training which meets the expectations of students on the one hand and on the other hand contributes to the development of the socio-economic environment of the region, he continued.
The IFTSAU of Es-Semara works to support and encourage scientific research, studies and internship programs, to enable winners to enter the world of work and meet the challenge of regional development.
This ceremony was marked by the presence in particular of the governor of the province of Es-Semara, Hamid Naimi, and the director of the Urban Agency of Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra, El Kahlaoui El Mustapha, as well as elected officials and members of the teaching staff.
